Weekend Update No. 2

Not a lot of projects happening over here.  We are spending time outdoors relaxing with friends. We decked out our patio by purchasing some patio furniture.  I had been putting it off because I was waiting for sales, but then I couldn't wait anymore.  I finally pulled the trigger on patio furniture when 30% off all patio furniture at Target graced my email inbox 2 days after I had made the purchase.  I had prematurely purchase patio furniture!  Ugh.  After a quick google search, I learned that Target will refund you the difference if you bring in your receipt if the sale had occurred within 7 days.  Good to know.

We went with these patio chairs from Target.  With the sale, they were around $32.  They are powder coated steel and have a great shape.  I have sat on them for a couple of hours at a time and find them comfortable.  There is also this bench which I love.  I think it would make a great piece in the entry way.  Target does it again!

It comfortably sits 6, but it can fit up to 10. We also purchased a matching bench.  Our inspiration was Sarah's patio (above), but we were worried that white chairs would not fair well outside, so we went with black.

Other updates include planting 2 prickly pears and a bougainvillea.  Both of them bloomed this week!

Lastly, I finally exchanged my California driver's license for a Texas driver's license.  I was a little sad to see it go, but I had to update in order to file my homestead exemption.

How are all things house going for you this Spring?
